Blue Barn Pet & Hobby Farm is 100% BC-owned and has locations in Castlegar, Terrace and Osoyoos as well as the e-commerce store BlueBarn.Shop. Blue Barn offers excellent customer service and a large variety of pet products at competitive prices.
Why a new website?
While they did have a commerce site with a large product listing, the previous site was fairly old and had numerous 3rd-party plug-ins that were slowing down the speed and causing conflicts.
Were there any special client requirements?
Allowing customers to quickly find what they are looking for and for the staff to easily add products and display sales was of primary importance
About the Project
Blue Barn Pet & Hobby Farm came to us with a strong existing brand. We simply expanded on it and set up the site so they could also freely add to the website as they saw fit. The shop by pet mega menu really allows customers to easily access the products they are seeking. Product information is easily found and read by search engines. Time was spent ensuring that the checkout was very simple and any offers were clearly marked.
