Who is Rail Ties by CarlWood?
Rail Ties by CarlWood manufactures rail ties, crossing timbers, car blocking, jack blocks, wedges, bridges, crossing posts to customer specifications as well as a variety of standard rail products.
Rail Ties is owned and operated by CarlWood Lumber Limited a family owned manufacturing company situated in Maple Ridge, British Columbia; about one hour drive east of downtown Vancouver.
Why a new website?
CarlWood chose to spin off its rail products as a separate commerce site to differentiate them in the marketplace.
About the Project
Rail Ties by CarlWood is a member of CarlWood Lumber Limited that is a family owned manufacturing company situated in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.
We created a brand-new, functional and user-friendly website.
The website features a shopping cart and quote system with a custom-programmed plug-in used to expand WooCommerce’s functionality, giving detailed product features and expanded product quote. Customers have the ability to add products to the quote and submit it to the sales representative through the website. They can also create an account to view previous quotes or orders.
